Summer Immersion Institute: 

Our Summer Immersion Institute is a hands-on summer camp in Athens, Ohio near Ohio University or OU. It is where students age 5-10 yrs old dive deeply into exciting topics like STEM, art, and innovation. Each week is designed to keep kids actively engaged—building, creating, and exploring—while strengthening critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Tuition: 

Tuition: $250/Week

Registration: Weekly, Monthly, & Full Summer registration avaliable

Fees: $20 Registration Fee/Child/Summer

Packing List: Lunch & Snack. All other supplies & necessary items included in tuition and supplied by Fireflies Academy

Staff & Safety: 

Alongside providing students with rich opportunities and engaging projects to immerse themselves in, safety remains a top priority for our program. Our Summer Immersion Institute is staffed by teachers who have completed background checks, received safety training, and are skilled and proficient in the equipment and technical techniques required for each week’s projects.

The Summer Immersion Institute serves as the school-age summer program offered by Fireflies Academy, a licensed nursery and preschool program.

How many student's does the summer institute enroll?

We enroll a maximum of 10 students. This ensures that students have the proper help, assistance, guidance, and resources necessary to acomplish the immersive projects and still develop friendships and lasting memories.

What is the cell phone and electronics policy?

We do not allow students to have cell phones, electronics, or other devices from home during the day. This is to ensure that the students get the most out of the experience.
